Freya's Ring

Denmark, 10th century. Gunnhild, daughter of the defeated king Olaf, along with her wise grandmother Asfrid, is forced to seek refuge with the enemy – in the house of the powerful king Gorm. To save her family's honor and the wealthiest estate of Hedeby, she takes a desperate step: on Freya’s Day, she appears before Knut, Gorm's son, in the guise of the goddess herself. Her appearance turns the estate’s life upside down. The eldest son, Knut, is captivated by Gunnhild's beauty, but the younger son, warrior Harald, sees in her both a witch and a goddess. An ancient feud between the clans reignites, rivalry between the brothers flares up, and in the shadows, a witchcraft aimed at Harald himself brews. Can Gunnhild hold onto Freya's Ring when love and duty stand on opposite sides, and the gods invisibly watch the outcome?
