Marie-Louise von Franz, one of the most famous and influential followers of C.G. Jung, considered fairy tales to be the purest and simplest expression of the collective unconscious. This volume contains updated translations of two of her key works – "Interpretation of Fairy Tales" and "Anima and Animus in Fairy Tales," based on seminars she conducted in the 1950s and 1960s.
