Bolero

«Bolero» — is a modern love story woven from trifles and witticisms, small tragedies and comedies. It is written lively, as if told aloud, and at times the author, becoming excited, shifts from prose to poetry. The action sometimes accelerates to the limit, sometimes suddenly slows down, sometimes jumps into the past, and sometimes rushes into the future at full speed. The decor for the love triangle becomes almost the entire world — a snug modern world of «digital nomads», where Hong Kong and St. Petersburg, Moscow and Zurich are located side by side, like neighboring rooms in an apartment. The author combines cold observation with sincere excitement, intricate plot with naïve emotionality, drama with satire, prose with poetry. From pictures and ballets, brands and prices, jackets and dresses, dreams and visions arises the strange world of «Bolero» — real and ephemeral at the same time.
