The collection includes 5 folk Swedish tales and 5 tales well-known in Russia by Swedish authors. The reader will first plunge into the ancient world of trolls and monsters, whose magic proves powerless against human kindness and loyalty. Then, once again, they will joyfully laugh at the antics of beloved characters, but this time by reading excerpts from familiar works in the original.

Each fairy tale is accompanied by exercises for better assimilation of lexical and grammatical material, as well as an artistic translation into Russian. Keys to the exercises will allow checking the correctness of the tasks, and a specially prepared audio application (available separately) will help develop and improve listening skills.

The book is intended for those who study Swedish independently or with a teacher, as well as for those interested in Swedish culture in general. Recommended level of proficiency in Swedish: A2 and above.
