Psychoanalysis of Early Childhood

The two works included in this book "Psychoanalysis of Early Childhood" by René Spitz, one of the founders and most prominent representatives of the genetic direction in psychoanalysis, are dedicated to the study of early mechanisms in the formation of child psychology. From a psychoanalytic perspective, relying on modern achievements in ethology, embryology, child psychology, and medicine, the author examines the ontogenesis of the child's social relationships, the development of their thinking, and the formation of general concepts.
