The beginning of the book is based on a story heard by the author many years ago from his father-in-law. In the early 60s, one of his classmates not only managed to study well at a difficult technical university but also quite successfully performed in KVN. For each game, the university team needed hundreds of jokes. And this self-made guy decided to come up with an algorithm for their creation.
He approached it as a scientific task and solved it brilliantly. It bore fruit. The young and boisterous physicists became KVN champions.
Oh, how interesting it was for the author to see this algorithm! But nothing more than its existence, the father-in-law could not tell about this miracle invention. And his classmate, unfortunately, passed away too early. It can no longer be asked.

Today, the author (also a former KVN player, participant of the 1st "KiViN" festival) has his own solution. In fact, this book is dedicated to that.
