On the Psychology of Western and Eastern Religions

The religious issues as one of the basic constants of human worldview have always been an important component of Jung's studies.

This collection presents works in which the author explores the unconscious in the religious sphere and the symbolism of dogmas, the psychology of pre-Christian and Christian symbolism, and the psychological basis of the Trinity, the symbolic content of the idea of "Father, Son, and Holy Spirit," psychological aspects of the philosophy of various schools of Buddhism and Hinduism, including based on the Tibetan Book of the Dead, differences in the understanding of the ideas of freedom and holiness in the West and the East, and many other features of Eastern and Western religions.
