This book is about people with mental disabilities and their friends (employees and volunteers of various social projects: «Faith and Light», «Tourmaline», «Anton is here», «Orange», «Circle II», «Downside Up», social villages). The book is compiled from the stories of friends about their experiences of communication, work, and friendship with people with mental disabilities. These living stories reveal the value of such interaction and offer new impressions of the world as a whole and of ourselves.

All illustrations in the book are drawings by Alexander Khavkin (Gentle), a special person with Down syndrome.
