Shaky Ground

The twins Ginny and Julius have never been like those around them. They are over fifty, but they have never left their home for long in their lives. They live in their own world – taking care of each other, playing duets on the guitar and violin, and trying not to remember the tragedy that darkened their childhood. They have no education, no friends, and no money. Their only support and protection – their mother – suddenly dies of a stroke. After which, the owner of the house they live in threatens to take it away, throwing them out onto the street... But the world, which they have always avoided because of its ruthlessness, turns out to be fair at times. There are people who are ready to help when neither Ginny nor Julius expect any assistance.
