Society of Bats

In Rostov-on-Don at the beginning of the XX century, there is a «Society of Bats», which the newspapers write about as a fellowship of initiative young people who come to assist the few police officers in nighttime patrols. But few know that its creator is the vampire Ratz, gathering similar beings to hunt citizens and gradually seize power. Joining the lodge are Agatha, a cold-blooded careerist of low origin, and her ward Osip, a rogue, gambler, and thief, who nonetheless thinks and feels like a human. Will they be able to find their purpose in the rapidly changing city and decide whose side they are on, without losing themselves in the relentless struggle for power, life, and love?
