The events in Roswell and Zone 51 have long been the subject of numerous articles, books, movies, and conspiracy theories about aliens and extraterrestrial technologies on Earth. But the truth is much more mysterious and frightening. One winter night, 73-year-old photographer Adam Panyukko helps a freezing homeless man.
It takes him a while to recognize Winston Coop, once his best college friend. Each of them went their own way, and Coop ended up at the center of a global conspiracy, the concealment of which led the U.S. government to launch the legend of the UFO crash in Roswell. For over sixty years, Coop has been covering his tracks for the authorities and has been very good at it because he possesses a unique ability: he can literally take away other people's memories. When he unexpectedly starts pouring his soul out to his friend, Adam realizes that sometimes knowledge is not only dangerous but also destructive.
After all, first contact did happen, but it turned out to be very strange, and there is indeed something in Zone 51; its inhabitants are far more incredible than anything a human can imagine, and the events of long-gone days still affect human lives in the most horrifying ways.
