Darius the Great is Not Okay

Unlike his namesake, King Darius, he is not great at all. He is half Persian, but has lived his entire life in Portland. At a young age, Darius was diagnosed with clinical depression, and despite treatment, he still struggles to connect with his peers. Learning that his grandfather is seriously ill, Darius travels to Iran for the first time with his family. There, he meets a neighbor boy named Sohrab, whose friendship forever changes his life.
