«If you look at the dead for too long, they will talk to you». The events of Alexey Polyarnov's novel unfold in a world where a catastrophe occurred thirty years ago, and across the country, corpses have emerged — frozen figures of dead children. The main characters, Matvey and Dasha, embark on an expedition in the south of the country to study the mysterious anomalies. During their journey, they discover how the presence of the dead has changed the lives of the living and how the living have become accustomed to sharing space with the dead.
