Omar Sy. Autobiography

The edition is based on interviews and personal conversations that French journalist and co-author of the book Elsa Vigouroux had with Omar Sy. For three years of collaboration, Elsa traveled to different corners of the planet for personal meetings with Omar, as well as communicated with him by phone and in messengers.

These were spontaneous conversations, without a prepared script and questions — a living dialogue and an attempt to build trusting relationships.

The result is a sort of diary, as Elsa writes, on the pages of which the actor first speaks in detail about the difficulties of growing up in an immigrant family, about the long road to recognition in the film world, and also shares thoughts on friendship and love.

Omar himself approaches this project philosophically: "this book is a simple thing: everyone will read in it what they want".
