Wizard and detective Mitya Demidov becomes the head of the Department of Mirror Magic in the provincial Kreshchensk. However, a high position brings great dangers.
Someone is killing a young man who looked like Mitya and was dressed in his ruined tailcoat. And when a werewolf attacks Mitya, there’s no doubt: they want to get rid of the new boss as soon as possible. Suspicion falls on the werewolf, who had a quarrel with the wizard the day before.
