The Magical Secret

The book presents fairy tales and parables designed to provide psychological assistance to children and their parents, and most importantly, to harmonize family relationships. Fairy tales are not only a conversation with a child about psychological difficulties in a language familiar to them, but also a discussion with adults in a "figurative dialect" that differs from everyday reality. Often, psychological exercises are woven into the plots, as well as dialogues between the narrator and the reader. Successful use of these has been confirmed by the author's and her colleagues' years of practice. The collection consists of several sections. The first contains the fairy tales themselves, the second includes short fairy tales with more developed plots, and the third consists of authorized parables, that is, stories containing moral lessons. The author of the book, Valentina Ivanovna Ponomaryova, is a practicing psychologist, a member of the International Community of Fairy Tale Therapists, and the author of several books on fairy tale therapy and symbology.
