Reflexes of the Brain

The work of I. M. Sechenov "Reflexes of the Brain" laid the foundations of modern physiology, demonstrating that all mental processes, including thinking, are reflexes. These achievements allowed for a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of brain function, including the formation of conditioned reflexes proposed by I. P. Pavlov, and their role in the formation of emotions and thinking. Sechenov's conclusions became the basis for the doctrine of neural networks.
