The road to the village of Malye Ozerki would have long been overgrown with grass if it weren't for the rumors about the local healer Darya. Semyon is convinced that the witch cannot cure what city doctors could not, but his children insist, and he agrees to one visit. However, the "appointment" does not go as planned, and now Semyon decides to stay in the village. But why are the locals not pleased with this? Everyone is scaring him about wolves in the forest...
