Board Game - Gnome Treasures

Join the team of gnomes to reach the Far Mountain and reclaim your kingdom and treasures! Take along the Thief, who will help unlock secret passages in the mountain's center, and the Wizard, whose magic will allow you to move faster. But be careful and cautious: you must reach the Far Mountain before the orcs gather their army. Roll the dice and let luck help you.

In the game «Gnome Treasures», the game board consists of several parts: the main track — the Adventure Road, the threat approach counter, the Wizard's path.

Goal of the game:

Gnome Treasures — is a cooperative game where players must work together to reach the finish. Players win if all player tokens (gnomes) and the Thief token reach the Far Mountain (the finish) before the threat token reaches the last (12th) division on the threat approach counter.

Game setup:

Cut along the dotted lines to create the Thief token, the threat token, the Wizard token, and the ring token. Place the Thief token on the start square, the threat token on division 1 of the threat counter, the Wizard token on the division on the Wizard's path, and the ring token on the Adventure Road square marked with the ring icon.

Divide the remaining cards into four decks: «Journey», «Thief», «Adventure», and «Assistance». Shuffle each deck thoroughly and place them face down next to the game board.

The players choose their tokens and place them on the start. To determine the turn order, players roll the dice. The player with the highest score goes first. Play proceeds clockwise. In the next round (counting from the first player's turn), the responsibility of moving tokens passes to the next player clockwise.

Gameplay:

On their turn, a player draws the top card from the «Journey» deck and advances their token along the Adventure Road by the number of spaces indicated on the card, or as rolled on the dice (if the corresponding icon is on the card).

Depending on the square where the token stops, the player takes actions as indicated in the instructions.

Victory or defeat:

In the game «Gnome Treasures», there are two possible endings: players can lose or win together under the following conditions:
- The threat token reached the number 12.
You lost. While you were making your way to the Far Mountain, the orcs managed to gather a huge army. All roads are blocked, you cannot go any further. Go back to build a new kingdom.
- The tokens of all players and the Thief token have reached the Far Mountain (the finish).
You won. The Thief opened the secret door, and you sneaked into the throne room to overthrow the dragon that seized the gnome kingdom! All these lands and treasures are yours again, congratulations!
