Board Game - The Middle Ages

«The Middle Ages» — it is a strategic family game with simple rules, where you will develop your domains by choosing area tiles from the field of designs and placing them in your fief. The special effects of each column in the fief will help increase income and achieve prosperity, while event cards can unexpectedly change your plans.

You — a feudal lord, and the future of your lands depends on you. Will you become a benevolent lord who builds fortifications and protects your villages? Will you prefer to feast in your luxurious palaces or go to war, recruiting troops in the barracks? Arrange your holdings according to your designs and become the most influential lord in the kingdom!

The goal of the game is to build the most successful and wealthy fief by the end of the 16th round.

How to play?
The game lasts for 16 rounds. Players take turns.
On their turn, a player performs several actions sequentially.
- Move your lord to any empty area tile in the next row below, reserving it for your next turn.
- Take the area tile where the lord was and place it in the corresponding type column of the fief.
- Apply the effect of that column of the fief.
- Receive income from that column of the fief.
Then the turn passes to the next player, who performs the same actions.
At the end of the 4th, 8th, 12th, and 16th rounds, the effect of the open event card is applied.
The game ends after the 16th round. Count victory points by adding the values of all the wealth tokens you have received and determine the winner. The richest player wins.
