This book is based on a systematic course of Ericksonian hypnosis conducted by the authors for many years. It is primarily aimed at practitioners—psychologists, psychotherapists, consultants, and anyone who provides help and support to others and wants to make their techniques even more flexible and effective. Ericksonian hypnosis does not force one to give up anything; although it is an independent direction, it combines well with all other techniques, complementing and enhancing them. The book is not intended for self-study of Ericksonian hypnosis and does not replace attending a systematic cycle under the guidance of an experienced trainer; it helps to better absorb and consolidate its material.
