Love and Other Paradoxes

Every story has its time. Especially a love story.

Cambridge, 2005. Joe Green, a not very successful student and even less successful poet, dreams of a glorious future where everyone knows his poems. And suddenly this future finds him. Joe encounters Izzy, who has arrived from 2044 as part of a tour group. The theme of the tour? The great poet Joseph Green and his love poetry dedicated to a certain Diana Dartnell, with whom they studied together at Cambridge.

However, Izzy is not interested in poetry, and the tour is not an end for her, but a means: at this time and place, an event will occur that she desperately wants to prevent in order to change the future. So, does predestination not exist? Does that mean that the muse — the love of a lifetime, the poems that made Joe famous, and the throngs of admirers can disappear due to any careless action? Neither Joe nor Izzy knows the answer, but they decide to help each other. Gradually, the young people grow closer, and Joe no longer understands what he really wants: to absolutely not rewrite the past history or, at his own risk, to try and write a completely new one?
