Experimental Psychology

The book presents methods for engineering psychology (ergonomic) evaluation of technology and the "human-machine" system as a whole. It collects, systematizes, and classifies a large number of methods and techniques scattered across various sources (monographs, textbooks, informational articles). It discusses general system issues related to conducting engineering psychological evaluations of human-machine systems and the main approaches to conducting them in detail. Significant attention is also given to the methods of engineering psychological assessment of information flows in human-machine systems, methods for evaluating and ensuring the convenience of using technology, particularly the dialogue system "human-computer." Separately, it discusses methods for engineering psychological evaluation of the reliability and speed performance indicators of the operator and the "human-machine" system.
