The book "Black Skin, White Masks" is one of his most significant works. Building his critique on field material, personal experience, philosophy, and psychoanalytic theory, Fanon incisively examines the roots of racism of various kinds: covert, self-directed, subconscious… The publication of this work in the Russian language is truly an important event, as it allows us to see a whole range of sociocultural phenomena occurring today from a completely new perspective.
