Practical Guide to the Use of OPD-3 in Diagnosis and Therapy Planning

This book, edited by I.O. Kirillov and L.B. Smolenskaya, is an adapted and revised guide to Operationalized Psychodynamic Diagnosis (OPD-3), created specifically for Russian-speaking specialists. The guide makes a complex theoretical system understandable and convenient for everyday clinical practice. The book contains a brief excursion into the history and evidence base of the approach, as well as a detailed description of all four diagnostic axes: experience of illness, relationship patterns, internal conflicts, and personality structure. Special attention is given to practical tools, such as assessment forms and scales, allowing the use of OPD in real therapeutic situations.
