The Fugitive

Spring 1929. American traveler Richard Byrd makes a flight over the South Pole, and a book titled «Conquest of Interstellar Spaces» was published in Novosibirsk, in which Soviet engineer Kondratyuk calculated the optimal flight route from Earth to the Moon. Sergey Travin is also set for a long journey, full of adventures and encounters, not always pleasant, with old acquaintances. Skeletons in the closet have come to life and demand bloody revenge, bandits are not sleeping, and the train wheels gobble up one hundred miles after another. Road adventures, shootouts, a lost village in the Russian hinterland full of ominous secrets, and a spy conspiracy are all present.
