Social Psychology

The textbook addresses issues of social psychology, focusing on its subject: socio-psychological characteristics of personality, small and large groups. The material of the publication is based on two methodological approaches: evolutionary and cross-cultural. The formation of human sociality is studied in detail. The dynamics of small groups unfold from the perspective of group processes, states, and the effects of group influence on individuals. The study of large social groups concentrates on ethnicities, cross-cultural differences and similarities, and the psychology of crowds. For the first time in domestic social psychology, modern scientific achievements of American, Western European, and Russian social psychology are presented comprehensively and systematically. The textbook is written in accordance with the requirements of the new educational standard.
