Metaphysics of Development. Complexity as an Object of Management

The book provides justification for the possibilities and methods of managing the development of those objects of reality that are equipped for this. These include people, human collectives, organizations, communities, society, the state, culture, and other natural living wholes. Mastering the development of such a diverse range of possible management objects required an explanation of the common features and patterns of development that are relevant to all of them. This means that the book represents an ultimate generalization and accessible exposition of the results of scientific research on the phenomena and mechanisms of development, as well as philosophical understandings of it. These generalizations cannot be an account of the 'physics' of developing and developed processes but can only be a result of its interpretation, that is – metaphysics.

Similar to the idea that development is the complexity of wholes needed for increasing their survivability, the material of the book is organized from simple to complex. The justification of the possibilities of managing development is richly accompanied by examples and practical conclusions drawn from theoretical propositions.
