Restoring Speech in Patients with Severe Impairments After Stroke and Beyond

This practical guide is intended for people who have suffered strokes, traumatic brain injuries, neuroinfections, tumors, and other diseases of the central nervous system, and who have severe speech impairments. The tasks presented in the guide aim to activate the patient's own speech stereotypes that are well established in the speech practice of every individual since early childhood. This guide is written based on the author's thirty years of experience at the Center for Speech Pathology and Neurorehabilitation of the Health Department of Moscow. The proposed approach has demonstrated high effectiveness.
