In our lives, there are amazing people.
People about whom we know absolutely everything, and then suddenly not so much. People who change so much every day that we are not ready to miss a minute of their lives. People whom... we carry in our arms and kiss on the top of their heads, and then wait weeks for their call, and when we meet, we tilt our heads back to see them better. These people are our children.
Our bond is incredibly strong. They are part of us. Or are they? Otherwise, why do they someday grow up and leave? They write the book of their lives faster than we can read and understand what's what. But we are still so interested. And even if now they are on the other shore of a very fast river, we want to throw a bridge to that side.
