Before you is the collection "Winter Mail." Seven authors have united to tell stories about winter — a time when the connection to the past and to oneself is particularly strong.
Winter is a time when boundaries become thinner. It connects... the worlds of the living and the dead, people and spirits, memory and oblivion. In the silence of winter nights, the whispers of the past can be heard more clearly, and in the glow of the northern sky, the outlines of traditions and legends appear brighter.
"Winter Mail" consists of letters from different worlds that arrive during the longest and coldest period. Sometimes it's a message from the world of the dead, sometimes a reminder of the forgotten, sometimes a message to oneself. In these stories, winter becomes a conductor: it preserves and protects, frightens and comforts, compels one to remember and helps to begin anew.
