The Resurrection of Mercury

I was a Roman deity and ruled the world. And then we were stabbed in the back by those whom we generously spared. Now I am here — in a new barbaric world, where everyone wears pants instead of togas,... and people travel in steel boxes. Weak mortal flesh has allowed only part of my power to remain. But I am Mercury — the patron of traders, thieves, and travelers. So I will definitely find out where all the gods of this world have disappeared to and why people have appropriated our power. What? Who said that? To restrict oneself in everything and push through to the goal? That's not quite my style, gentlemen. As my brother Mars used to say — even on the field of the most brutal battle, there is time for rest. Besides, just look — there are so many beautiful women around, none of whom receive attention.
