Princess Atanasia has finally achieved the impossible — her indifferent father, Emperor Claude, has begun to treat her with warmth.
However, the calm in the imperial palace did not last long. The mage Lukas is forced to leave the princess and set out in search of the World Tree. Left without his support, Atanasia faces a new threat: her magic is going out of control. In a desperate attempt to save his daughter, Claude sacrifices himself... and loses his memory! Now he sees in his daughter only a stranger who deserves death.
Forced to hide, the princess faces a choice: to submit and flee or to risk everything to restore her father's memory.
But even if Atanasia challenges fate once more, can she withstand the secret enemies who are already entangling Jenit — the very main character of this story?
