Sixteen-year-old Olivo Depero lives in a shelter for troubled teens and has already changed several homes since losing his parents in a terrible accident. He loves books, hates grammatical mistakes, always wears specific clothes, and utters a maximum of six hundred words a day – quite enough for communicating with the world! Moreover, Olivo possesses remarkable intelligence and uses it to memorize information in seconds, build logical chains, and draw only the correct conclusions, most importantly – to see what no one else can see.
That is why desperate police commissioner Sonya Spirlari believes that Olivo is her last chance to find four missing teenagers. After meeting all the young man's demands, which turned out to be many (for example, he only eats pasta with parmesan, sleeps in an unheated room, and chews five lollipops a day), Spirlari brings him up to speed. And Olivo immediately notices that there is something strange about him. Strange enough that even he will have to work hard to unravel it. And that is exactly what Olivo enjoys.
