Cold Mountain

Inman is a Confederate soldier, and he doesn't particularly like it. After spending time in the hospital due to an injury, he decides to leave military service and return home in hopes of reuniting with his beloved Ada. However, he realizes that doing so will not be easy due to a number of circumstances. The armed forces of the establishment will attempt to prevent him. He also encounters many dangers along the way, including armed gangs with pseudo-patriotic ideologies. Some would hand him over to the Confederate army, others to the federal army. Some would simply kill him for fun. Will he be able to endure this journey?
