Alexander Blok

Alexander Blok (1880—1921) — «celebrated not according to a program and eternal outside schools and systems», as B. Pasternak rightly noted. The bohemian life of the poet, his unusual relationship with his wife, the nervous yet literarily fruitful friendship with Andrei Bely, alongside Blok's position as a citizen, are placed at the center of the biography.
