Handwriting Practice for Children Aged 6-8 Based on Zhukova's Primer. A Set of Three Handwriting Books

If your child has learned to read, you can start teaching them to write. The basis of our preschool writing instruction is the syllabic principle of Russian graphics. The syllable acts as a unit of writing, where the writing (and reading!) of vowel and consonant letters are interdependent and represent a solid graphic element. The handwriting books have a purely practical focus and serve as an appendix to the Primer (by the same author), which is successfully used by parents and in kindergartens. Since the pace of learning to write varies between children, ensure that the tasks and exercises are accessible to the child; for that, carefully read the notes placed for the educator at the bottom of some pages of the notebook.
