The set (level 2) consists of 48 cards that can be used on both sides.

Add and subtract numbers up to 20 (color side of the cards).

Select a card from the stack with a model diagram. Familiarize yourself with the content... of the card. Ask the child to find the value of the numerical expression using the model diagram. The child can check the correctness of the answer by matching it with the second half of the card. Review the mathematical notation on the right half, and encourage the child to construct mathematical reasoning based on this notation.

It is recommended to master counting up to 20 in stages:

1. Addition and subtraction with round numbers.
2. Addition and subtraction without crossing the tens.
3. Addition and subtraction with crossing the tens.

Develop the skill of mental arithmetic (black-and-white side of the cards).

Take any card with a numerical expression, find the value of the expression. Among the remaining cards, select a card with the same value of the numerical expression. The strips on the cards will help verify the correctness of the answer.
To reinforce the study material, four test cards are offered. A brief theory in diagrams and tables will help to successfully complete the tasks.
Games with the cards will help the child learn to count quickly and correctly up to 20, and remember the basic arithmetic rules.
