Shelter

The reality in the stories of Alexey Kolesnikov is tangible and textured: there is the roughness of concrete and the shine of metal, the silk of women's hair and the warmth of animal skin, the cracked skin of calloused fingers, the heat of the sun, and the cold, white-white snow. The precision of speech and metaphors, the clarity of language, which is supported by significant work, give volume and materiality to the characters and the stories they experience. The author's tactile movement towards the heroes brings the reader as close as possible to them, allowing us to see the living and human in everyone who is ready to save and be saved
