The manual is dedicated to teaching children aged 5–6 years to make crafts from recyclable and natural materials. The described methodology is aimed at children's independent creativity with minimal adult involvement, which helps to reveal the child's creative potential.

Activities contribute to strengthening muscles, developing flexibility and plasticity of the whole hand, fine motor skills, as well as fostering spatial imagination and the multifacetedness of children's fantasies. By creating crafts from natural materials, children learn to engage in organized labor activities and economical use of materials. They learn to pay attention to the beauty and harmony of the animal and plant world and to treat nature with care.
