The fourth book in the series dedicated to the works of philosopher and methodologist Georgy Petrovich Shchedrovitsky.
Language in form is both spoken speech and gestures and formulas. Language in content is a reflection of actions, phenomena, and conclusions. Language serves... simultaneously as a reservoir of knowledge, a way to manipulate it, and a method for constructing ever new concepts. It is connected to thinking much more closely than it seems at first glance. In essence, these concepts are inseparable, and one can speak of linguistic thinking, which develops along with human activity.
This work of Georgy Petrovich Shchedrovitsky occupies a special place in his legacy. The candidate dissertation of 1964 "Linguistic Thinking and Methods of Its Research" sums up 10 years of research on a new, content-genetic logic and theory of thinking and will become one of the cornerstones in the further development of methodology in its main positions.

We consider "linguistic thinking" in terms of isolating and studying thinking as such. We must, therefore, seek a method of analysis,
such a way of decomposing "linguistic thinking" and at the same time such a way of representation that would allow us to investigate thinking as such, as
a special subject.
