For the Young Pianist. Anthology for Students of the Children's Music School. Grade 3

You are holding an anthology for 3rd grade students of the children's music school. The compilation of this collection is driven by the necessity to have a sufficient amount of musical and pedagogical material in one textbook for teaching a... child to play the piano throughout the year. The collection includes works from many previously published teaching aids that help address the issues of this learning period. According to the curriculum requirements of DMS and DShI, the anthology includes works representing the following sections: polyphony, large forms, pieces, etudes, and ensembles. Although the collection does not use the etudes of C. Czerny and A. Lemouane, the polyphonic pieces from "Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach" by J.S. Bach, pieces from the author’s collections of P. Tchaikovsky, R. Schumann, D. Kabalevsky, which are undoubtedly necessary when working with children, the presented artistic and instructional material expands the repertoire palette of the teacher and allows the selection of the necessary number of works for working with 3rd grade students, considering their individuality.
