Dissolving in the Sands

The eighty-year-old Mother mourns her deceased husband. She refuses to get out of bed, despite the efforts of her relatives and loved ones to lift her spirits. But everything changes when her grandson, pathologically unable to laugh, brings his grandmother a golden cane adorned with butterflies. The Mother gets out of bed and begins a completely new life.
