Letters to Brother Theo

Having become a true epistolary legacy, Vincent Van Gogh's letters to his brother Theo profoundly move with their sincerity. Over the course of more than a hundred years, the correspondence between the two brothers, which lasted a full fifteen years,... has become no less popular than the artist's famous sunflowers and has been translated into all European languages. Meanwhile, few know that these endless, piercing letters were filled with numerous drawings of the objects that Van Gogh saw before him. Using original sketches and drafts from the letters, we attempted to recreate what the artist's letters looked like, who drew everything that fell under his genius gaze. Before you is a unique edition, each page of which is permeated with the atmosphere in which Van Gogh lived and worked. It becomes clearer how the person who created such colorful and bright paintings actually saw the world.
