Bonjour, Sophie

It's 1959, and eighteen-year-old Sophie is just beginning her adult life. The dreary existence in a coastal English village with strict foster parents is driving her crazy. Sophie realizes that if she wants to truly live, she must take matters into her own hands. "The Great Adventure" – that's what she calls her future wonderful life.
Sophie dreams of leaving for Paris, the city where her mother met her father and from where she fled before her daughter was born.
To get there, it will take determination and ingenuity, but she will be able to learn more about her family and possibly find happiness. It is worth the risk.
