Masterpieces of Art Nouveau

Art Nouveau, also known as Jugendstil, Secession, – all of this refers to it, the beautiful, original, mysterious, and at times overtly sensual style that dominated the visual arts at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. This artistic phenomenon is associated with many of the most famous architects, painters, graphic artists, and applied arts masters, but perhaps the brightest and most significant names are those of Antoni Gaudí, Gustav Klimt, and Alphonse Mucha, as evidenced by the constant attention of the broadest audience to their personalities. This book is dedicated to these three authors, but it does not limit itself to their creative legacy within the mentioned style; rather, it allows us to trace the gradual development of each master, from their earliest works to mature creations that demonstrate their interest in exploring new boundaries in the rapidly changing world of art at that time.
