Board Game - Lands of Ghosts

Welcome to Kalena, a settlement haunted by spirits! In the game "Lands of Ghosts", you will take on the roles of sensitives – people capable of communicating with ghosts. You will help unsettled souls finish their business so that they can depart from our world to another. Over three seasons, you will travel through the lands of Kalena and drive away ghosts, allowing buildings to be constructed and resources to be gathered on the freed lands. Upon returning to the settlement, you can sell resources and learn new skills that will increase the number of actions available to you. You are true heroes, for only you have the power to convince the spirits to leave our world. Earn the most valor points and become the most renowned sensitive!

How to play?
At the center of the table is the game board – the city of Kalena and 6 regions placed randomly around the settlement. Nearby are resources, a game tablet with skill and market cards, and in front of each player is their personal tablet, their sensitive token, markers, and quest cards.

A game lasts 3 seasons, and each season is divided into 3 rounds. If it weren't for the troubles with the ghosts, this game wouldn't take place, so each round begins with the distribution: the last player rolls the terrain die and places 4 ghost tokens from the supply onto the cells of that landscape which came up on the die. It is unwise to go to empty lands, so next comes the production phase: all buildings on the game board produce resources. And now the journeys of the sensitives begin! On their turn, players can perform any number of basic actions (as long as they have enough action tokens):

Exploration: move to an adjacent terrain cell
Mining: acquire resources related to the type of terrain you are on
Construction: place a building on the cell related to the type of terrain
Contact: banish a ghost while in the same cell with it
Free cheese is only found in a mousetrap, so keep in mind that any action will require payment. In addition to basic actions, players can also perform any number of additional actions, but they will also have to pay with resources. While in the city, you can sell resources and earn pecunia (local currency), teach the sensitive a new skill or conduct training and receive a new action token of any type. After all, the better your form, the more stamina you have and the more actions are available to you!

When there are no available actions left for players, the sensitives rest and restore their action tokens, the turn order changes, and the next round begins. The last player again distributes ghosts across the game board, resources are gathered, and the sensitives begin new actions.

Who won?
At the end of the third round, the season ends, and after the third season, the game concludes as well. Throughout the game, the sensitives earn valor points by banishing ghosts and completing various quests. The player who earns the most valor points is declared the winner of the game and the great hero of Kalena!
