Henry IV

In the book "Henry IV," written by the famous French author Georges Montorgueil (real name Octave Lebeg), the story is told of the founder of the Bourbon dynasty. The cheerful king Henry, a gallant knight and fearless military leader, became a favorite of the French people and is remembered as "good King Henry." His famous phrase "Paris is worth a mass" is known by everyone, but everyone also remembers the Edict of Nantes, which ended the Religious Wars. Henry IV, King of France and Navarre, lived in a legendary time, and it is no coincidence that he himself became a king of legend. The edition features 40 illustrations by the famous German artist, outstanding book illustrator Hermann Vogel.
