Unique trucks designed and built in Tatarstan have made the "KAMAZ" brand recognizable worldwide. In 2017, the vehicle with the index KAMAZ-43509 was created. In 2019, the vehicle underwent significant modernization: the engine's working processes were optimized, reducing smoke emissions without impairing dynamic properties, improved intake and exhaust system elements, reduced effort on the steering wheel, and reconfigured the internal fittings of the body while optimizing the vehicle's center of gravity.
A series six-cylinder engine with a volume of 12.9 liters, power of 1050 hp is used. The dry weight of the vehicle is 8530 kg. Already in 2019, the vehicle brought victory to the crew of Eduard Nikolaev at the "Dakar" rally. At the recent "Dakar-2022", the crews of Anton Shibalov and Andrey Karginov competed in KAMAZ-43509 trucks with technical improvements introduced during 2021, finishing in 3rd and 4th places in the truck category respectively.
