ship's owner actively used the claim of the "unsinkability" of the Titanic, and it could not be called unfounded. Thanks to its design, the Titanic could remain afloat if two of its sixteen watertight compartments were flooded. It was indeed hard to imagine the damage that could sink this ship. Despite this, on April 15, 1912, after sustaining numerous small breaches due to a collision with an iceberg, the Titanic sank just 2 hours and 40 minutes after the collision. Of the 2224 on board, only 711 managed to survive.
A set of plastic parts for assembling one model of the ship. The model is assembled using special glue produced by the "Zvezda" company. Glue and paints are sold separately from the set.
